FEBRUARY TO APRIL
Emerging artist Rebecca’s -esque is an immersive exploration of contemporary identity through the human form. Created in her Adelaide studio, her work blends diverse styles, textures, and cultural narratives to examine race, culture, and societal expectations.
The title -esque reflects the fluidity of identity and the complex intersections between the personal and the universal. Rebecca’s paintings focus on strong, resilient women who challenge societal norms, embodying defiance, empowerment, and individuality. Each piece invites viewers to reflect on how these narratives shape our understanding of ourselves and each other.
Rebecca’s belief that "Strong Women Live Here" lies at the heart of her work, highlighting the enduring power of women to inspire and redefine the world around them
